Nov 19, 2013 — FORT DRUM, N.Y. (AP) The search for more wreckage of the New York-based military drone that crashed into Lake Ontario a week ago has been put on hold because of the weather.
Maj. Sandra Stoquert of the Air National Guard's Syracuse-based 174th Attack Wing says high winds and the possibility of snow or rain on Monday kept airmen from returning to the lake's eastern end to look for wreckage from the MQ-9 Reaper. Go to full article
Fort Drum, NY, Jan 14, 2011 — New York's Air National Guard says it till begin flying unmanned surveillance planes over the Adirondacks beginning this summer. The training missions will be used to help pilots and ground crews learn how to remote-control a spy plane known as the MQ-9 Reaper.
