(11/11/11) There are support groups for service members and spouses, but what about the children of 10th Mountain Division soldiers sent overseas? Last spring, a theater class at Indian River High School teamed up with a local playwright to produce a very personal look at how teens respond to their parents' deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan. In response to positive reaction, the play, In My Shoes, will be performed again tonight in Sackets Harbor and Saturday night in Clayton. Todd Moe met the students and creative team last June.

(04/08/02) Some 400 10th Mountain Division Soldiers from Fort Drum returned home from Afghanistan this weekend after six months on the front lines in America's war on terrorism. Jody Tosti was at Fort Drum on Friday for their arrival.

(03/06/02) The soldiers and spouses at Fort Drum have been watching with increasing tension as reports of American casualties come in from the battlegrounds of Afghanistan. Martha Foley reports.

(02/28/02) More than 3000 men and women from the 10th Mountain Division--based at Fort Drum near Watertown--are deployed in the Yugoslavian province of Kosovo. They're enforcing a delicate peace between Kosovar Serbs and Kosovar Albanians. And they're helping to rebuild a region torn apart by war. But for the individual soldier, the daily grind of peacekeeping can sometimes obscure the mission. David Sommerstein recently traveled to Kosovo with the U.S. Army and has this report.
