Assemblywoman Teresa Sayward's announcement she won't run for reelection in her district opens up the field to a host of contenders--including Jay town supervisor Randy Douglas--he'd be a democrat running for a traditionally republican seat. The state government is still struggling with state pension reform. And in Vermont, the Burlington Mayor's race is turning out to be surprisingly contentious.
